Wearing shoes with the wrong type of soles will prevent you from deriving maximum power from your legs, therefore preventing successful maximum lifts. The shoes you normally wear out will make your feet shift back and forth as you move; this wouldn’t happen with real weightlifting shoes, supplying you with unprecedented lift results.

So What Makes a Good Weightlifting Shoe?

It’s complicated. In the past, serious trainees have worn almost everything on their feet that you can imagine, including thick soled combat boots. Enter the hybrid. The hybrid shoes has a heel with just a slight lift, so both types of support are accomodated.
